List your attraction
Day Out With The Kids has been helping families find days out since 2008, and the US edition covers zoos, museums, theme parks, beaches and parks state by state. If you run a family attraction and you are not on the site yet, this is the way in.
How a listing gets made
1. You send us the basics
Venue name, city and state, your website address, and anything that makes the visit distinctive for families. The form below is enough to start.
2. We research the page ourselves
We build the listing from your official site and other public sources: opening times, admission prices, age suitability, facilities and accessibility. We do not publish claims we cannot source.
3. A human reviews it before it goes live
Every page is checked by an editor against our editorial standards. If something is unclear we email you before publishing rather than guessing.
4. You can send photography
We prefer your own imagery to stock. If you have a press area or a photo library you are happy for us to use, tell us in the form and we will follow up with a short licence grant.
What it costs, and what we will not do
A standard listing is free. We do not sell rankings, and paying us cannot move an attraction up a list or remove a rival from one. Where a page carries a ticket link we may earn a commission, which never changes what we write.
We list places a family can actually visit. Pop-up events, private hire only venues and businesses without public opening times are usually declined. Full detail is in our editorial standards.
