Who we are

DOWTK USA is the US edition of Day Out With The Kids, a family days-out guide built by a team that has spent years helping parents find great things to do with their children. We created the US edition to bring that same practical, family-first approach to attractions across America.

What we do

We help families find and plan days out across the USA. Every attraction listing aims to give you the practical details that matter when you are planning a trip: opening hours, prices, family suitability, location and directions. Content is organized by state, city and category so you can browse by where you are or what you want to do.

How we create our content

We believe in being transparent about how the information on this site is produced.

• Listings are compiled from official attraction sources (the attraction's own website, its published opening hours, ticket pages and visitor information) and other public information.
• Drafts are written with the help of AI tools, then reviewed and fact-checked by our editorial team before they go live.
• Each attraction page shows a last reviewed date so you can see when it was most recently checked.
• Prices, opening hours and availability can change at short notice. We ask visitors to verify important details with the attraction before travelling, and to let us know if you spot anything that needs updating.
